Trial Play & More Marketing of Pirates "soon"

Flying Lab Software reveal their plans past patch 1.5, which they're "finishing off". FLS has been waiting for 1.5, since they feel it has a lot of great features that will appeal to players, now that 1.5 will be available soon their new main goal is:

Marketing.

Yep, that's right. You're going to be seeing more pirates and in the end this will lead to a larger population of players in Pirates of the Burning Sea. One of the things they will give extra attention to is to make the game "easy to get into"; explosing it to a wide audience. More frequent ad's will show up, instead of huge short campaigns, the goal being to give the game a broader exposure.

Starting in mid-July (or end of) there will be free trials that last for 14 days each. Now current players immediately wonder what will happen if the trial accounts get abused, but FLS assure us that they have already taken steps to limit the trial accounts, in order to maintain an undisturbed gaming atmosphere.
